Sign the Petition to Save Hahamongna

To: Supervisor Kathryn Barger and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors

Don't let a unique and beautiful piece of Pasadena, Altadena and La CaƱada-Flintridge be destroyed! We need to make sure that the sediment removal project at Devil's Gate Dam in Hahamongna Watershed Park is smaller, slower, and safer for the community and wildlife than what the County Flood Control District is proposing.

PETITION BACKGROUND

We need to act NOW to save Hahamongna. There is a 45 day review period for the revised EIR which extends until September 7th. The fate of Hahamongna will be decided by the County Board of Supervisors, which must act to certify that the entire EIR is in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). This is the time for those who care about Hahamongna to speak up, hold the Supervisors accountable, and ensure that the sediment removal program is reshaped along more sustainable and environmentally sensitive lines.
