Save Hahamongna

We support the protection of Hahamongna Watershed Park as a rare water resource and natural habitat zone that allows only low-impact recreational and educational activities appropriate to the nature of the area.

We support youth athletic fields at schools and in neighborhoods where they are accessible but not in this special, environmentally sensitive habitat zone.

We urge the Pasadena City Council to reconsider the plan to build additional athletic fields and a parking lot in the middle of the Hahamongna basin and to explore alternative athletic field sites, including potential joint use opportunities with the Pasadena Unified School District.
