The event also included a Special Needs Awareness Expo, benefiting autistic children and others with special needs.

Danny's Farm, a working petting zoo established to provide a safe environment for people with developmental disabilities, brought its mobile operation to the park Saturday.

The farm was forced to leave its Altadena location in 2011, and later found a home at Cal Poly Pomona. Hahamongna is near the farm's former space.

"That's an area that's close to our heart," Danny's Farm administrator Jenny Sukys said.

Roosevelt Elementary School also participated in the event.
